– Continuously identify technical risks and gaps; devise mitigation strategies in anticipation of production and customer needs

– Ensure quality, customer focused solutions are achieved and maintained in a timely manner.

– Knowledge on Electrical Energy Metering domain

Sr. Validation Engineer position for a Global Electronics Manufacturing Company for Kolkata, West Bengal location.

 

Job Responsibilities Include:

– Deliver 100 percent defect free tender samples

– On time release of supply artifacts after complete validation

– Maintain NABL accreditation

– To build and maintain a effective validation team

– Carrying out activities to maintain NABL, Calibration of instruments, Internal Audit, External Audit, PT Program.

– Logging of the validation observations in TFS.

– Release of Supply Firmware after complete validation for supplies within stipulated time frame to enable operation to deliver meters without Liquidated Damages.

– Completion of validation for Tender Samples within due date one day prior to tender due date for local utilities/3 days prior to outside utilities.

– Support during sample evaluation -at utility/3rd party labs.

– Generate & circulate Monthly Report of Validation within 2nd working day of every month

– Motivating the Validation team to maintain Quality & timely releases

 

BE/B-Tech in Electrical

Knowledge on DLMS , metering standards, NABL accreditation and metering domain knowledge
